Starter motor repair (GRE, XN1) [2/2]

Thoroughly clean every part you can.

Make sure carbon brush holders are free of rust so that the carbon brushes are able to move freely. Renew the brushes if they are too worn out. Again use sand paper and a small file to clean up places.

     

     

     

     

Finally assemble the starter motor and install it to the engine. Double check the wiring before making any attempt to start the car.
